Troop Commander

RMVCC Plymouth Instructors Phots 2015 0012

Colour Sergeant E Doyle RMC

CSgt Doyle will stay with the Troop throughout their Training. This is CSgt Doyle’s fourth troop so he is experienced in the training of recruits at RMVCC Plymouth.

Starting as a Cadet himself he has been with the unit for some time going on to be an Instructor and then taking over the position of Recruit Troop Commander in June 2014. Trained as a Drill Leader he was the ideal choice and has turned out some quality recruits.

Although the main focus at this stage is getting the new recruits used to new things and for some a new way of life, there will be some nights where they are doing PT (sports) or team games where we will try and get them working as a team.

Exercise First Step

Recruit Troop 116 at Willsworthy Camp on Dartmoor. This is the Troops first experience of being in the field and they are taught the basic skills needed to live in the field.
